North Coast Partnership is Reinventing St. Edward High School's Spirit Program

St. Edward High School has announced North Coast All-Stars as the exclusive spirit partner for the Eagles. This partnership will bring a new and exciting opportunity for the expansion of St. Edward’s current spirit program.

North Coast intends to grow the opportunity as a unified Spirit Program with Cheer, Dance, and Stunt teams that will pride themselves on being the leaders of the Eagle Nation. The primary focus of the St. Edward Spirit Program is to increase the Eagle Spirit on campus and in the community by performing and cheering at athletic and special events.

The Spirit Program will strive to encourage crowd participation, focusing on student-athlete development, sportsmanship, leadership, and pride. The St. Edward Spirit Program looks forward to creating, continuing and enhancing traditions for Eagle fans and alumni to enjoy.  

Heading the Spirit Program for the Eagles will be Patty Rice.  Rice has owned North Coast for the past 26 years and brings over 30 years of coaching the sport to the table.  “I am beyond excited for the potential of this relationship.”  “I look forward to creating a program that is parallel to the type of championship expectations that St. Edward is known for providing to its athletes.” North Coast’s first goal for the Spirit Program is to immediately grow membership of the St. Edward Sideline Cheer Team.  To be eligible for sideline participation, prospects must be students at either St. Joseph Academy or Magnificat High School.  Open positions may become available as soon as the 2023-2024 Basketball season.  Spring tryouts to include incoming Freshman will be announced.  Interested athletes should join the mailing list for news and upcoming training opportunities.  All Spirit Program inquiries should be directed to North Coast steds.cheer@gmail or by calling
